The basic Handyman course covers:
Designed for people with no experience or skills of bricklaying and wishing to undertake minor bricklaying projects. The course includes starting at foundations, brick wall and cavity, garden wall, steps, arches and door frame.
This course covers cutting and fixing plasterboards, backing coat finishing, fixing stop, drip and angle beads. Repair to the damaged ceiling and wall plaster.
This is a basic practical course working with copper, bending and soldering, use of plastic piping and compression joints. Pipe-work in fitting a kitchen sink, wash hand basin and bath and the removal and replacement of a radiator. The basic theory of the domestic water system and heating systems.

Provides hands-on knowledge on the wall and floor tiling covering how to measure walls and floors set out and design layouts and provide a quote. Practical work includes tiling around basins, toilets and baths. Time is allocated to planning designs on walls and floors.
